Viking Schumann
Ship Description
When we first traveled on the Viking Schumann in the '90s she was known as the Clara Schumann. We visited the ship again in Bad Schandau in 2005 and found that she had substantially upgraded staterooms. Deluxe and standard staterooms have one sofa that converts to a bed and a pullman bed. Triple staterooms are basically two rooms put together through a connecting door. Staterooms are small and may not be the right choice for discerning American travelers. The restaurant still is not directly accessible from the main deck. During your leisure time, indulge on the sun deck with breathtaking 360-degree views or from the observation lounge where you can relax over cocktails.
